REMINDER: New 911 Fees Remittance Process via GECA

Official Message from the Georgia Emergency Communications Authority:

 

Counties are not to accept any funds from service suppliers/vendors as the new process for 911 fees collection and disbursement has begun. If fees have been remitted to the county, please contact the vendor and educate them on the new process. For more information on the new process, please direct the vendors to the Georgia Emergency Communications Authority (GECA) page: https://gema.georgia.gov/emergency-communications. If the remittances have already been processed, please let GECA know the amount by emailing 911authority@gema.ga.gov. Also, please send any questions regarding this new process to 911authority@gema.ga.gov. GECA appreciats your patience while they work through this new process.
