Georgia Department of Natural Resources: Grant Opportunities
The application period for the Georgia Outdoor Stewardship Program (GOSP) and Recreational Trails Program (RTP) opens on September 1, 2019. In anticipation of the open application period, the DNR Grants Unit is providing potential applicants with new resources to help prepare for the upcoming cycle.
2019-2020 Grant Manuals
The 2019-2020 Grant Manuals for the Georgia Outdoor Stewardship Program and Recreational Trails Program are available online. These manuals serve as a source of information and guidance for prospective applicants in securing grant funding. They detail important program fundamentals and goals, while also providing instructions on how to apply for the various project types.
All eligible applicants must complete a pre-application online at https://gadnr.org/grants. Following the competitive pre-application phase, successful pre-applicants will be invited to complete a second-level application. Applicants may submit pre-applications for both the Georgia Outdoor Stewardship Program and Recreational Trails Program, but applications must be for separate projects.
The DNR Grants Unit staff is here to help you during the application process. If you have any questions concerning eligibility, potential projects or need assistance with your online application, please contact a member of the DNR Grants Unit.
