Clark brings more than 34 years of public service experience in county government across Georgia, demonstrating strong leadership and a commitment to effective public administration. He began his career as a Deputy Sheriff in Mitchell County, where he developed a solid foundation in criminal justice, emergency response, and community relations.

He later advanced into key leadership roles, serving as both 911 Director and Emergency Management Agency (EMA) Director. In these positions, he oversaw emergency communications, coordinated response systems, and partnered with public safety agencies during state and federal disasters to ensure timely and effective services.

Clark’s success in these roles led to broader responsibilities in administration and management across Mitchell, Crisp, and Harris Counties. He is known for his practical problem-solving approach, operational excellence, and dedication to improving government services and quality of life. His experience includes strategic planning, infrastructure development, intergovernmental coordination, budgeting, and oversight of county operations.

Clark and his wife, Michelle, reside in Dooly County, where he serves as a deacon at Liberty Baptist Church. They have three children—Trey, Lauren, and Jake. He is also a Master Mason and Past Master of Millwood Masonic Lodge in Pinehurst, Georgia.
